David Ruddy

Yuasa Ken was a surgeon for the Japanese army. Yuasa Ken grow up in Tokyo and attended high school at Yasukuni Shrine in Chiyoda Ward. In 1941, he became a doctor after graduating from Jikei university. His origanal plan was to be a practitioner traveling to remote villages that didn't have any doctors. He started to operate on chinese prisoners. Japanese Army believed the importance of working on live prisoners. They thought it would help them understand how to take care of the casualties. As a army doctor, he was responsible the overall health of soldiers and there families. They are also responsible to set up health care insurance for the soldiers and the family of the soldiers. During the war, army doctors are responsible to oversees the emergency medical management of casualties and makes sure soldiers health insurance is ready to go when they are at war.
